Paper tickets get lost, crumpled and copied. MYPASS.PK uses QR e-tickets instead: a unique code for every ticket, checked at the entrance in a second. Here is what you need to know before event day.

What is on your e-ticket

When your payment is confirmed you receive an email with one QR code per ticket, along with the event name, date, venue and ticket type. If you bought several tickets, each person in your group has their own code.

How entry works

At the gate, staff scan your QR code with the MYPASS.PK scanner. The scanner checks that the ticket is genuine and belongs to this event, then marks it as used. Each QR code admits one person, one time. If the same code is scanned again, the scanner shows that it was already used and when.

Why a copied QR code will not work

Because every code can only be used once, sharing a screenshot of your ticket online is risky: whoever scans it first gets in. Keep your tickets private and only share each ticket with the person who will use it.

Tips for a fast scan

  • Turn up your screen brightness before you reach the front of the line.
  • Save a screenshot of each ticket in case mobile data is weak at the venue.
  • Have one ticket on screen at a time if you are scanning in for a group.
  • Arrive early. Check the doors-open time on the event page so you are not rushing.
